We're having a boy!

Our baby boy is growing right on target! Today he measured at 9 inches long, and 15 ounces--almost a full pound! While we were counting his organs and whatnot, we got to see him yawn and swallow, even blink at us. He does have 2 cysts on his brain, from the sponge like part that produces his spinal fluid. They are simply clogged. But we were told that they were very normal, and in 2 months at the next ultrasound, they should be gone. The doctor emphasized and re-emphasized how normal it was, and how I should NOT google it, as it would only strike the fear of God in me. :o) I am, so far, taking his advice. :o)

So we are SO excited to start prepping the nursery and buying cutesy things. :o) We are definitely not at all settled on a name--we even broke down and bought a baby name book today--but as we've said all along, that will be a secret until he is born. :o) It is so amazing to say "he" and not "it"--we're getting a son! ;o)
